Ok, I had no idea that it was going to come out like this… let alone like this. I was doodling, not really knowing what to draw, when I started drawing the outline of a lady kneeling. I was never good at the human form (I suck at drawing people, just look at my gallery) but then as the penciling progressed, she came out pretty good Until it came to the hands and feet, I ruined them. Repeatedly. I almost scraped the drawing when I got the idea to Cheat by making what appendages that were touching the ground into roots. I also suck at drawing roots, but not nearly as bad… Then I’m thinking she’s missing something, so I realize “Hey if she has roots for extremities, why not make her in to some plant/nymph thing?). I added vines, but something was still missing, so I added roses (why, I dunno). I’m 50/50 about how this picture came out. On one hand it is the best I have EVER done of the human form (even though she is a rose nymph) but I can see a dozen or so points that I think could be improved. I may try to repaint this someday but for now I’ll leave it as is
